Terry spent 12 years in New York City working in theatre, television and film. While there, he directed and acted at The Village Theatre Company, Carnegie Hall Studios and Theatre at St. Marks as well as television appearances on ABC’s One Life to Live and NBC’s To Serve and Protect. He attended the University of Alabama and has trained professionally with Sanford Meisner, Fred Kareman, Wynn Handman, Sally Johnson and Lehmann Byck. After moving to Dallas in the mid 90’s, Terry spent 17 seasons as Producing Artistic Director of WaterTower Theatre in Addison, Texas where he oversaw over 100 productions and directed over 40.
During his time in New York, Terry began his journey as an acting teacher and coach, and presently teaches on-going acting classes in the Sanford Meisner Technique in Dallas. He is also available to teach Meisner workshops, coach audition preparation or as a private coach.

Terry has been a professional actor for nearly 40 years and a professional director for 30. He acts on both stage and screen, and directs for the stage. He is available for both acting and directing projects.
